Hi guys,new here

Hi Everyone,

                             I've been lurking in this forum for a while now, thought I'd pop in and say hello! I had my VSG on July 10th 2007, and I'm doing great! I've lost 20 pounds in 3 1/2 weeks. I've also made it to Onederland, (currently 197.2) and made my 100 pound loss from my highest weight ever. I'm 22, Happily married three years, and can't wait to meet you guys! My doctor had me originally on a 6wk Post op modified liquid diet, but now he's making me wait 7 weeks, because I wasn't able to get an appt with him untill then! He's telling me that I can't advance to solids untill I see him again. He says I HAVE to do HIS diet, I can't follow what the nutritionist told me I can do. He says if I am unable to follow what he said, and I am not making a lifestyle change, and I WILL be one of the people that gain their weight back after 30 years. What a JERK, makes me want to just do what he originally said and start eating real food at 6wks. I LOST OVER 80 POUNDS ON MY OWN BEFORE I MET THIS JERK! I didn't get from 298 to 221 by MAGIC! (I was 221 in his office) I'm taking a picture of me at my heaviest to him, just to show him how big I used to be, maybe he'll apoligize.. probably not though. ANYWAY..... just rambling I hope to talk to you guys soon!

Yeah, he sounds like a jerk, in my opinion.  I'll worry about what happens in 30 years 30 years from now.
