Oh my!

Hello everyone!  New to OH...just wanted to say that I'm here and that I'm SCARED!

This seems to be a common theme today! Welcome, don't be scared, have courage! =)

hey and welcome to OH! Whenever you feel the need to vent go right ahead! it's normal to be scared! But believe me it's nothing to worry about :)

Welcome to our little spot Courtney! Please do stay awhile and soak up as much as you can...Where are you thinking of having your surgery at? Thanks for the welcome!  Well, I've found a nice place in Greenville that does their surgeries out of Pitt Memorial.  It's not the ECU program but I can't really find anything good on that at all :-(  That is a really good post, thank you!

Don't be scared! Everything will be fine, are you having laproscopic? When is your date? They give you a nice shot before surgery, and you get giggily and happy. Get involved in something from now until surgery that way you can't just sit around and think about it all day :). I had finals up to the firday before surgery so I was pretty busy, and didn't have time to worry.  Good luck!

Well, I think I'll be scared right up until that nice little shot! :-)  Work and school can keep me busy, I suppose, but something this tremendous is a little overwhelming! I don't have a surgery date, hell, I haven't even started the process.  I'm moving to NC in three weeks and that's where I'll start everything.  My mother had gastric bypass three years ago and she is very supportive and very helpful!
