GURRRRR!! I am so frusterated!!! EVERYDAY for the past 2 weeks I have thrown up after at least 1 meal. I know that a couple of times it has been the issue of eyes bigger than stomach, but others I take 1 bite and the porcelin goddess calls my name. What is up? I think my new pouch and I are not the best of friends yet.

Any Suggestions? I have been taking little bits of my "safe foods" (cottage cheese, applesauce, soup) but it still comes up.  Please help

Of course I got to start with "call your doc"...I think that your still healing pouch (yes it is still healing) has become very irritated - I went the through similar troubles, it was at that point that I gave my pouch his name - Ralph - because that's what he does when I mistreat him. Someone recommended to me then to take a break and go back to the liquid diet for a few days, it worked for me - gave my pouch a chance to calm down and then life was good again...

Michael, that is a really good suggestion of going back to the LD.  Myabe its a common suggestion, that I don't know about because I am still Pre-Op, but I am writing that one down, for memory.  I think when your in that position and your upset and spending too much time in the bathroom, you might not think of going back to a LD.

I dont know how much applesauce you are having but it may have to much natural surgar at this point for you. Make sure it is the no surgar added as well. Of course call your doctor and also I would agree with taking a step back in the food progression.

Definately call the surgeon... more than likely they will move you back to liquids for a day or so and see how you do on that... then slowly add food back in. Make sure you are measuring your meals and taking breaks between bites to keep from suffering the eyes bigger than the stomach issue... get a timer if necessary, take one bite wait 2 minutes then take another.
