Surgery THIS Thursday!!!

Ok, now is a freak out moment!  I think it has finally hit me that my turn has come.  I have never had surgery before and I am all kind of nervous.  I am also questioning myself after the after surgery. I am super excited and extremelly nervous at the same time.  Has this been anyone else's experience? Happy Tuesday! Candice

I was the same way since i had never had surgery before either! And i was nervous before surgery but also really excited at the same time! You will do great and we will all be thinking about you and wishing you a speedy recovery!

Take a deep breath.....you're going to do great.....this is the journey you have wanted to take for a long time and I'm sure you will do whatever it takes to be successful....Other then having my 3 year old and gallbladder out you could say it was my first big surgery in the respect that it was one of the most life altering....besides my daughter of course.....I have never been happier I have so much more energy and zest for life....I would never take her to the park because I didn't want to be the fat mom.....now I'm the chubby mom who can keep up with the skinny moms.....it was the best choice I have ever made and I know you'll think so too.

You'll do great....   and it is so worth it!

Hi Candice, I am so happy for you!  I am pre-op and supposed to have surgery August 3rd and I am so nervous beyond belief, from what I here from a number of people on the boards it is very normal to feel nervous. COUNTDOWN 2 more days!!!! How exciting. I was extremely excited up until I was being rolled into the operating room then I was nervous. but that only lasted about 2 minutes cause I was knocked out. That is the best part. lol...Keep us updated on your progress and good luck you will be fine. ~Diana~
