Hey all! Let me introduce myself. I'm Terrence, I'm 25, and I am a middle school teacher in southern Cali. I haven't gotten the surgery yet, but I am planning on getting the Duodenal Switch surgery. I am scheduled for a consultation on August 13th. I already called my insurance company and they said they covered weight loss surgery (I have Blue Cross PPO). I can't wait to get this surgery so I can live a "normal" life for the rest of my 20's. I have about 275 pounds to lose, so I have a looooooong way to go, but I WILL get there. Well, it's almost 1:00 am here and I have to wake up early to teach summer school. Nice to meet you all! Terrence

2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)
