Hi everyone! I'm new

My name is Ashley and I am new here.  I've been reading some of the forums and this site is great.  I'm 23 and in the process of trying to get gastric bypass surgery.  I'm looking to meet other people in their 20's who are pre- and post-op.

Hi Ashley! Nice to meet you. I kinda lurk on this board but rarely post. Be sure to keep us updated on your journey. I'm 26(just turned 26 on the 29th of June) And I am 6 months post op. It has been an up and down rollercoaster....but I don't regret my decision. Feel free to email me anytime!

Hi Ashley :o)  I am 26 and have am just waiting on Insurance to approve Lap Band. Its been quite a journey already for me and the waiting for insurance seems endless. I hope all goes fast for you! Keep us posted!  Liz

Hey Ashley, Welcome!  This is a fun group of people.  I am 22 and a pre-op for lapband.  I just finished my last appointment and once they get the paperwork to my surgeons office I will be able to submit to my insurance I cant wait. This is going to be such a life changing thing.
