Pregnancy after surgery

Just wondering if any of you know how long you should wait after having a baby to have the surgery?  Just getting started with all of this and and into my  2nd month of my supervised weight loss diet.  I currently have a 9 month old and  would like to have another one after my 6 month diet then have the surgery.  Just didn't know what kind of time frame to be looking at.  Also... someone mentioned there being a "mommies" forum.  Haven't been able to find it... Anyone have any ideas?   Thanks, Dana

Hi Dana,  I was told to wait 12 to 18 months until after surgery.  I am scheduled for mine July 10 so I am hoping by August of next year I will be able to try.  I think a lot depends on how your weight loss levels off and how your blood tests come back etc.  One would not want to get pregnant too soon and have the baby not get the nutrients it needs.   Good Luck!!
