Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself!!!!

hi everyone! my name is kristin, ive actually just been lurking around the forums for about a year just cause i didnt feel like i had anything to say that could help anyone since i hadnt had surgery yet or anything...WELL I am having lap rny on JULY 11th and Im soooo Excited!..Ill be 20 in january but i figured i was close enough to 20 to post here..anyway id love to meet some new friends on here and id love to support anyone who needs it!!!..p.s this site is so awsome seriously..-kristin...oh and my profile isnt very interesting but as soon as i figure out how to do pictures and stuff itll look pretty like everyone elses (:

Welcome to the 20s!  congrats on your date of July 11, I'm so jealous....mine isn't til July 16....by then you'll be able to tell me horror stories of the hospital ;-) OH is a great place, I've learned tons in the last month or so (whenever I joined the site)... Good luck on your journey and keep us posted on how things are going :-)

Thank you! well july 16th isnt too much further from mine but even though mines right around the corner i feel so antsy i just want to get the surgery over with!!! im so ready for the good the bad and the ugly! Ill deffinatly give you a full detailed report when i get out of the hospital. its almost just surreal to be waiting so long it almost felt like it was never going to happen and now that i know the exact DAY im doing it its so strange! in a good way though! Good luck to you on your upcoming surgery too! we'll both be recovering at the same time!

Welcome welcome welcome! This site is the best ever! This forum itself is kinda slow but I peek in a lot.  I just had my surgery last Monday so I am one week out.  If you have any questions just ask!

I totally understand you there.  More people in the "real world"  Are very judgmental and this this is the easy way out. With all my research and what not it is deffinally NOT easy, Its going to take lots of work  But will be well worth it.

Welcome Kristin - this forum is a little slow moving but it is really great we youngin's have a place to get together.  Conrgatulations on your July 11th surgery date!  You are definately old enough to post here - I don't think anyone would turn you away darlin'.  If you are on myspace or facebook and you need a friend add me and I would be happy to have you as a friend.  I hope to see you around!
