*sigh* The waiting game.....

I called insurance earlier this week to see if they have an answer yet and was told to call back today.... WELP, I called today and still no answer....**sigh**  I'm getting nervous....I'm running out of time.  My surgeon already scheduled me a date in the high hopes that insurance will be compliant, and I start nursing school mid-Aug.... SO, I'm hoping that maybe by Mon or Tues they'll give me an answer one way or another so I can either submit more paperwork OR do a happy dance..... Patience is NOT my strong suit....UGH!

Hang in there Rianne!  I remember how frustrated I felt with my insurance company so I'll be crossing my fingers for you to get an answer soon -- good luck!

I know how the waiting game feels...a day seems like a week and the next day a month!  Just an FYI i was calling the customer service number on my card and they said they had nothing in the system... then I called the next day nothing.... next day nothing. Then I finally called the precertification number and they had my approval done the prior day....  so maybe check on that,,, Good luck my fingers are crossed!

I called united healthcare everyday, then on day 12 the lady said "if you would like, I could put this on expedited status" I didn't even know that was an option, I was like "heck yes" the next day I found out I was approved and I even convinced them to fax the notice to my clinic...less then three weeks later they were operating on me.

Well I've given BCBS a week and a half now...now they are gonna feel my impatience ;-)  I'll probably be calling about....every day from here on out!! Congratulations on beginning your journey!  I checked out your profile and you look awesome...you've made such good progress!  I mean, I can't even imagine losing 63 pounds in 2 months!  I can't wait til I have such great before and after pics to share with everyone as well :-) Thanks for taking the time to reply!
