New PICTURES and ????
I wanted everyone to know I posted some new pre op pictures. Finally remebered to chrage the camera batteries so I could get those up.
I also was wondering if anyone couldn't get there rings off and had to wear them through surgery.
I have really bad eczema on my hands and they are really swallen right now do to the heat. I can't get my left hand ring off to save my life. I can get the left hand rings off with some work.
I took all my finger nail polish off last night. I feel naked.
Anything I shouldn't forget to take with my to the hospital??
Grace & Peace,

Erin,
I'd work really hard on getting that ring off as my surgeon would cut them off for you before surgery. No metal allowed in the operating room to prevent electrical burns from tools used during surgery (somehow any part of your body with metal in/on it gets second hand burns from the equipment). Windex works great! It's our trick at work. Good luck!
I didn't really use much in the hospital, but here's what I did...
- Chapstick
- iPod
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Hairbrush and elastic hairbands
- Deoderant
- Clean panties
- Elastic waisted pants and loose tee for the ride home
- Slippers
- My pillow from home
Congratulations on your surgery!
