I'm getting a little nervous
So, I may be just paranoid.
But I am 3 months post op, and I have lost close to 60 pounds.
However, I have been at the same weight for about a month now. Maybe even a little over a month.
Is this normal? I thought I'd reach a plateau further into the journey.
I also haven't had my period since February. So I know that may be slowing things down.
Give me your input please!!
First off congrats on your weight loss. I am 3 months out and i have lost 47 pds.... be proud! As far as being at a pleateau.... it happens. Up your water and your protein. Take measurements! Usually if your not losing the pounds your losing the inches! Also remember your body is gonna be constantly changing. Call your surgeon. See what he/she has to say about it.
It is normal to hit stalls and slow points... have you been checking your inches? I had times the scale didnt move but my pants were falling off. If you have not lost weight or inches for 4 weeks or longer I would give a call in to the NUT. Make sure you are meeting all your nutritional requirements and getting in that exercise and you will see that scale move again :)

I guess i'm just being a little paranoid. I'm sure you can all relate.
I do need to start measuring. I have been working out almost everday for the past couple weeks.. soo hopefully I will get going again.
I know i'm not getting enough protein, it's just really hard.. and I"m having a hard time affording the shakes ya know? it can get a little pricy, and from being out on FMLA for so long (WITHOUT PAY!) I am trying to catch up.
Thanks !!
