It's finally gonna happen....May 8th

I will have my RNY on May 8th. I was denied after four months because of an exclusion in my policy. So after almost giving up, I did some research and found a doctor in Mexico that I am entirely confident in. Dr. Aguirre from Ensenada will be doing my WLS and I couldn't be more excited. Before you go: "OMG, Mexico?! Don't you know they steal kidneys down there?" (LOL) check him out. I wish you the best of luck! I had mine done in January and I have already lost close to 60 lbs. It's the best decision I've made. So keep your head up and start preparing cuz May is right around the corner.

Thanks for the warm wishes and congrats on your progress.  I see that you were about 330 lbs when u had WLS. That's really close to my weight, as I am about 335 lbs. It's very encouraging that you have already lost 60 lbs!  Good luck to ya!
