OT: Bank screw up

SO me and my husband are really struggling with money and bills etc.... and have been praying that god help us to get through this and back on track... my hubby was talking abotu this with his parents last night and they were telling him to pray and god would help him out.. anyways...(they are very religious people) lol... so today i check my bank account to see if my husbands direct deposit went in... it went in all right... twice...yup u read it right... they put his check in the account twice...we really need this money and i know its not right not to say anything... but what do i do?!?! god works in mysterious ways sometimes.... hopefully this works out.... katie

hey sweetie, i can totally understand stress with bills and money! i just wanna warn you about keeping the extra money. more than likely the bank will relize there mistake and take out the amount that isn't supposed to be there. even if you run and withdrawl it all right away, they will just post it to your account as negitive that amount.... i would just let them know, this might cause more stress than it's worth! goodluck

yeah i figured that would happen... but it hasnt just yet so ill just wait it out and see... who knows lol... im so confused on what to do....

I wouldn't spend it either, Last month they put my hubbys in twice, and the next day or so it was taken right back out.  You dont want to end up in more of a financial headache by spending it.   Sorry.
