SURGERY DATE!!!!!! NOW IM FREAKKING NERVOUS!!!
Tell me about it, even after reading and researching for months and months, when I finally got my date I was like "holy crap this is actually happening!" I still wake up with that attitude some mornings lol.
I can't even imagine going through all of this without the support of friends and family. Sucks that people refuse to understand your decision...but as long as you do, no one else matters! This is the best thing you can ever do for yourself! Best of luck

It's completely natural to be nervous. this is a huge HUGE change in your life. I think a lot of people can be negative about it because they arent properly informed. Just be confident in hte research you have done and the surgeon you chose. Try to surround your self with positvie people. I am very grateful for my family and friends. they were encouraging me the whole way. I didn't really get nervous until I was lying on the bed getting my IV put in. I was holding back the tears. But if it werent for the positive influences in my life i don't think i would have made it thru. Make sure you get all your shopping out of the way as soon as you can. Get your vitamins, jellos, soups and whatever else you need for your postop diet. Get all your business taken care of and stay focused

Like others have said, it's completely normal to be nervous - if you weren't, it'd be weird. I'm having my surgery on the 6th, and every day I wake up I'm excited, but that doesn't mean that I don't have my 'do I really want to do this' phase - but we are here for a reason, because we've got ourselves here - and I'm so happy to see that I'm not the only one. We're doing this so we can live the rest of our lives without any hesitation :) It's only the begining - let's bring it on!
