Alcohol..
SOOOO I did it and I drank alcohol, let me start by saying that I am usually a light weight when it comes to alcohol- pre op one beer would make me tipsy...so I drank some vodka the other day and I DID NOT GET DRUNK or tipsy or buzzed or ANYTHING. Its so strange. So yeah I give up drinking since its not good for me AND it doesnt do anything. But why could this be? I thought it was pretty general that alcohol would effect you so much faster. Did they throw in an extra liver during surgery? WEIRD! Oh well I have to look at it as a blessing.
ME TOO ME TOO!!! I went out with a friend 2 weeks ago and I decided what the heck....I tried cranberry and vodka and I had like 4 of them...and NOTHING! I was so depressed over it...lol...funny thing to be depressed over huh? so anywho I went out again last week, had 2 glasses and still NADA! So, I guess you're right on the extra liver thing...they must have given me one too. :) Oh well...maybe one day!

Wow, I totally can't relate to you guys. When i drink, I get tipsy really quickly. It's scary because sometimes I still don't feel it sneaking up on me. I love Jose Cuervo but just can't drink it anymore because I get so drunk so fast.
It's interesting to hear other people's stories since we've all traveled the same path and had such different experiences.
HAPPY LOSING!!
When i first started drinking aftyer surgery i wasn't getting drunk either. I am thinking it was due to how fast i could drink at the time and how big i was. I couldn't drink fast enough to get me to where i wanted to be. Then i started to get really drunk after the months past, and i think it was due to being a lot smaller and being able to drink faster. Now i can hardly drink at all without getting retarded drunk, so i have to stay away from any hard liquor. This is just a theory, but i think it makes sense. I hope this helped.
