Someone like me???!?!!?!?!

Hi~   My name is Nikki and i had RNY on 11/29/06.  i wanted to know if there is anyone that started ther WLS journey @ 350lbs or around that weight..i started at 349lbs and was down to 326lbs on surgery day and i m now a day or 2 away from being 3 mos. post-op and am down to 280lbs.  I just wanted to talk with some people that are and were my size whenever the had WLS!! Hello Nikki. I had RNY on 11/8/07 and I was 343 day of surgery.  I have lost about 55 pounds give or take 1 or 2.  I agree there are a lot of people on here who started a lot less than we did. Let me know if you ever want to chat.  You should check out the November 2006 board.  There are a lot of nice people who chat on it and a range of starting weights.

I was 332 at my heaviest and 328 on the day of surgery. I'm currently 9 months out and down 117 pounds. If you ever need to "talk" feel free to message me. Congrats on your success thus far.

Hi there.  My son is 22 and had RNY on 2/16.  His starting weight was 506 and he is 6'4".  I couldn't get him to join OH so I just joined myself.  I have learned so much through these forums and, of course, I pass it all along to him.  I was thrilled to see a board for the 20's . . . not many guys though. You're doing great - hang in there!
