Plastics

I am wondering if anyone in the 20s, post-op has had to have plastics done. I have been told having the surgery at a younger age, skin will have more plasticity to it, and I won't need plastics. Does anyone agree with this or will I probably have to have something done? Thanks, Kristina

It depends on your body, how you've carried the weight (all around the middle or all over?) so far. And how much you work out and tone your muscles as you loose all that weight. I've got relatively minor skin issues but I can see that I'll still need plastics to put me in the completely normal catagory. My boobs look like an old lady's and my tummy skin can be held in my fist. Another girl on this board got her tummy tucked but due to the weight training she diligently did, she didn't need her tummy muscles tightened which greatly reduced the healing time. That's something to think about.

Thank you. That helps me a little bit. I carry my weight all over but especially in the thighs and butt. I figure a few years down the road, maybe for my 30th birthday, my husband would pay for me to get something like the plastics done.
