rashes
Hi,
I'm pre-op too and yes some people do get rashes. I have gotten a few under my breast. They are a type of yeast infection and are pretty normal with overweight individuals. What you can use to clear it up is Desitin, Vitamin A-D ointment, or really anything that you can put on diaper rash. I prefer the vitamin A-D ointment becuase my skin is very sensitive and it's a salve.
Also, you can use baby powder when it's really warm out so your bra and clothing don't rub and exacerbate the problem.
Good luck, you'll be fine!

Well hun the worst thing is that post-op it gets worse! Now dont get me wrong it is completely worth it.
I am 11months post op and down 60lbs. My stomach is a very flabby area and I used to get weekly infectious rashes under my tummy. My solution before my glorious tuck is Gold Bond medicated powder. The key is to keep the area dry always. I haven't had any rashed since I started using it.
Keep up the great work!
