One more question how painfull is the surgery really? i survived a c-section wasnt that bad... and i survived katrina now that was bad but im still alive..But really i hear the gas pain is the worse is that true? Yes you will! I haven't been measuring my fingers, but I've been measuring my neck and various other body parts once a month since surgery. At three months out I've lost 44 lbs and about 2 inches in my neck, going from a 16" neck to a 14" neck. On a slightly separate subject, I recommend you do measurements of things like neck, bust, waist, hips, arms, thighs, etc. every month and track your progress. It will help you to see the progress even when you hit weight plateaus. I keep mine in Excel and have charts that show it graphically. It's a real boost for when you get depressed.

I sure hope so! I just did the same thing. I went on a cruise and fell in love with a ring, but they didn't size and my fingers are an 8. So...I bought it anyway, as a post surgery gift to myself (which also justified the expense..haha). Good luck to both of us! If not, at least you can get the ring resized. And I do know that when I have gained/lost weight, my neck has gotten bigger/smaller, so I am sure that will be fine!

ABSOLUTELY YES. I went from a size 8 to a size 7 in only a month.. my moms wedding bands and bracelts are suddently huge (shes 1 yr post op). Trust me you wont mind in a little while! It will be worth it, plus you can always getthe ring sized and long necklaces are in! Good Luck!

Hi Stefie!!! Check out my profile! I went from a 20" neck to 14 right now lol... I can finally wear rings again... but I'm still in like the 11s lol!!! The pain depends.... each person is different. The only thing I felt was like a cramping in the upper left shouler area from the gas....

Hmmm... as far as I know, I believe jewlery places are able to resize the ring to smaller. I could be wrong, of course. But you might want to check that out. -Zedrick
