One more question how painfull is the surgery really? i survived a c-section wasnt that bad... and i survived katrina now that was bad but im still alive..But really i hear the gas pain is the worse is that true? Thanks you guys, Stefie
Yes you will! I haven't been measuring my fingers, but I've been measuring my neck and various other body parts once a month since surgery. At three months out I've lost 44 lbs and about 2 inches in my neck, going from a 16" neck to a 14" neck.
On a slightly separate subject, I recommend you do measurements of things like neck, bust, waist, hips, arms, thighs, etc. every month and track your progress. It will help you to see the progress even when you hit weight plateaus. I keep mine in Excel and have charts that show it graphically. It's a real boost for when you get depressed.
I sure hope so! I just did the same thing. I went on a cruise and fell in love with a ring, but they didn't size and my fingers are an 8. So...I bought it anyway, as a post surgery gift to myself (which also justified the expense..haha). Good luck to both of us! If not, at least you can get the ring resized. And I do know that when I have gained/lost weight, my neck has gotten bigger/smaller, so I am sure that will be fine!
