bad break up...needing help

okay yall, i am 20 years old. i had my lap RNY on Aug. 7,2006. I broke up with my boyfriend of 9 months (who is 24) about 10 days after surgery. he was way too serious for me and i just need sometime to be single and deal with everything that is going on in my life. well, he is still hanging around here all the time, wont get it through his head that its over. he is still all i love you, lets work it out...and i just need some time to figure out who i am. he is also totally not ready to be serious but he doesnt realize that. he doesnt have a job, he isnt going to school, and i have too much going for me to rely on a brokeass boyfriend who is always needing something. i am 20 years old damnit....let me be in college andenjoy it. anyway i just need some advice

ehh. That sucks.You told him straight out what you did and didnt want and he still comes around, I would sit with him one more time and tell him EXACTLY why you need this space, because him smothering you and following you around isnt going to win you back. I really dont know what to tell you. Sorry I wasnt much help

Tell him again that you do not want to be with him and that you want to be left alone. Tell him you don't want him coming around and if he continues to do so, you will file a police report for harrasment/stalking. You can always not prosecute but you want to start a paper trail if you need to in the future. I hope he listens to you and it doesn't go that far. Good luck. -Maria
