Three month update w/ pics!!!
OK well... I had my surgery on May 17 so I'm about a week past my three month mark. Things are going awesome!!! I'm trying new foods and doing my darnest to get my protein in daily. I'm good about getting my liquids down, but darn it those proteins are hard to cram in. Anyway I'm down 60 pounds and I feel so much healthier. I'm crappy at updateing my profile but theres a few new pics!!!

whadda mean you thought you'd be down more weight? 60 lbs in three months is insane! i was down that much in six months! and you are lookin' right good there, your face is soo much slimmer. you look even younger (though both you and the hubby could pass for teenagers already!) if that's possible.
lemmie encourage you on hitting the weights. that's really important for us ladies. it helps the body reabsorb the skin, replaces the muscle we're loosing (imagine if you kept the muscles your body used to haul you around at your highest when you're 100 lbs. lighter!) and helps combat our thinning bone density. you know those high calcium levels we've gotta hit? the weight lifting will really help that. i only just started weight training at 8-9 months out and i can't help but wonder how ripped i'd be if i'd started sooner. so let me cheer you on with that!
plus, the sooner you develope the habit of working out, the better. because sadly, this surgery is not a magic solution and the only thing that keeps us from gaining is the same things that keeps everyone from gaining weight - working out and eating right. damn.
