Hey Dana!! Wow its really getting close! You asked if aynone has any words of wisdom....I do! I did very well after surgery and I think it is because I was up walking at every chance I had-even in the mddle of the night. Walking also helps with nausea and gas and keeps your blood circulating. I also get stiff laying in bed for too long and walking definatley helped that! Other than that listen to your doctor and nurses they really do know what best! Good luck and be sure to let us know when you are home and settled!!

Dana, We are surgery buddies! Yay! Anyway, it has gone by fast. I'm not sure what you are supposed to bring. I did buy some slippers, for walking around, but I don't know if you really need them. Well, good luck, and if you feel like talking.. or something, my email is [email protected] -Brook

Chapstick or something like that was very important also get up and walk as much as you can and practice your breathing on that little breathing thing they give you. ( I'm not sure what it's called) Bring a brush and toothbrush. Goodluck!
