Surgery aug 15 and im sick

so after years of trying to have gastric bypass finally get a date and 2 days before i have my surgery i get a damn cold.what should i do should i call and let them know so they can cancel my surgery or do i just wait it out and see if its gone by tuesday! anyone have any remedies? I was told h202 in the ear will knock the cold right out but im so scared to do that!

Tell your doctor about it. I have read somewhere that as long as you are not running a fever and are other wise in good health being sick should not be a problem.

um, yeah, i'd want to be upfront about it in case it should effect you on the operating table. better safe and alive.
