odd question
I recently saw some one talk about how many pounds they lost, pants sizes down and show sizes down...I am hoping someone can confirm the shoe size loss..I know it is something funny to look forward too, but when you were a size 11 or 12 in womens and 10 in mens......partially because i do have fat feet but i do still have long feet too....but it would give me one more thing to look forward too, besides looking good I can buy the shoes to match each new outfit.....flip flops and tennis shoes can only go so far
I am one month out today and went shoe shopping this past Sunday... I was a 10 previously and now am fitting into a 9 or 91/2 depending on the shoe... I am down 28lbs as of today Just like the rest of us - feet get fat too... also being overweight can cause more fluid retention in the limbs causing the larger shoe size as well. I also cant wear any of my rings any more because my fingers have shrunk
It's true, it's true, and I will swear to it! When I was pre-op, I saw a post regarding this very thing, and I felt the very same way as you.
I have worn a size 11W, teetering on a 12 for the last several years, and I just couldn't believe when my shoes began to loosen and flop on my feet. I am 3mos out, and I now wear a straight size 10, w/out the "W". The top of my feet are sooo flat and thin, you can see the veins. My toes look longer, ankles thin, and I'm so happy that now when I wear my cute strappy shoes, I'm not left with an imprint of the straps on my feet and ankles. HALLELUJAH!!! It's real!
...But honey, you are going to experience so many changes, you won't be able to count them!
