Introduction... and I have a DATE!!

Hi my name is Dana and I'm 24 from los angeles ca , my rny surgery is scheduled for 8/28. Im soooooo glad I found this board with people my AGE that can talk about all that goes with this process of surgery.. I have to say Im a little nervous anxious and i guess scared about all that will come.. but every day i get a little more and more excited.. My process was SURPRISINGLY fast and easy to get approval from my insurance, which i know is a blessing since i read about all the hoops most go through and time and money spent.. I went in for a "doc talk" last friday expecting them to send my letter of medical neccesity after i attended that talk and having to wait 2-6 weeks for approval... BUT when i walked in she said Oh. i wanted to talk to you.... we got your approval we can set up your date.. so I was like OOOOH.. ok ... a lil bewildered to say the least.. haha.. it seems to be going by so fast and i know these 2 months are going to go like zip...... Anyway... Thanks everyone for all of your advice etc, I have gained infinite amounts of knowledge from reading your blogs and the posts here. ... nice to know that us 20 somethings have a place where we can relate our issue etc... dana
