Well, the antacids only neutralize the acid in the esophagus and stomach and it might not be effective if you take them. Maybe there is another cause for your teeth problems? I have the same issue, but it is certainly because of the acid reflux because the enamel on the inside surfaces is damaged. I discovered it accidentally thanks to my dentist https://thehealthysmile.net/dental-services/implant-dentistr y-bay-village-ohio/. He suggested me some facets for the lingual surfaces in order to avoid tooth erosion. So, you better consult a specialist in order to get a proper dental treatment. They are familiar with this issue, so I'm sure he can find the best solution for you.
I had an RNY surgery 16 years ago.
My lowest weight was 160 lbs I am 5'5
I am now 220lbs ??
I've tried diet n exercise. Keto diet/ pouch reset / fasting diet etc
What are my options?
Revision surgery?
Medication?
Some sort of special diet?
Any opinions, insight, advice are welcome.
YES.. this happened to me as well. My husband is a bit heavier and I think that is why. It was about 8 months after my surgery. ( about 6 months ago now). But yesterday i leaned over the arm of the chair and it feels like I fractured my rib again. Very painful when breathing or leaning over now. I am surprised to find so many references to ribs on this forum. I also had a partial knee replacement but that is doing ok.
i'm 16 years out still trying to get back on track to i do right for so long then quit.. i'm from Erin, NY... Anita
My bariatric surgeon prescribed Ferocon (pre-natal vitamin) because it contains intrinsic factor and higher iron content. Might be worthwhile to explore?
Thanks for responding! The b12 injection should make you feel amazing!
I get an iron recheck in two weeks then they will decide next steps. I am hopeful I won't need an infusion and interested to see if my iron is going back up with the additional supplements what that means moving forward.

Happened to me at 9 years out and now my B12 is low or the first time. I had uterine fibroids that contributed to the iron deficiency and now alcohol contributing to the B12 challenge. I got iron infusions - been fine since. I am getting a B12 injection on Monday.
I am in the same boat as you - 10 years out, 160lbs down and now back up to 230. And alcohol is in the mix. Sweating, discomfort with exercise, physical pain all back. I am trying to get back to basics all around; I have to take responsibility. I'd like someone to get back on track with . . .
