Ok Ladies... We can do this!!!!
Hi CeCe!!
Congrats on your upcoming surgery!! :) Thank you for your response! It made my day!!!
I am down to 191, on my way to 180 and possibly 170!! I am basically doing "the back to basics"" Protein, Complex Carbs; WATER WATER WATER, no sugar, no grains, no bread, no rice, artificial sweetners, no sweets, no potatoes, nothing white and NO simple carbs.
Now that I am off the carb craving/sugar craving train, I feel AMAZING!
If you are on myfitnesspal, add me!! I am under megawatt823! I track EVERYTHING - food and exercise!
HUGS!
Megan
Okay, my facebook is under Cherina Forshee Butler [email protected]
Hello, tried looking you up and there are a lot of you (your name) on FB... lol ... I would love to share support... I'm under GiGi ZarbCousin ... The photo is of me near a bay in a dark blue shirt...
Not sure what the bmi suppose to be, I was 34.1.....considered obese I'm 5' 4 I weigh 195 pounds now. I went from size 8/10, now pushing 12/14
Thank you for the advice. I'm on facebook [email protected]. I'm was thinking about the sleeve. I've always felt doctors use the band to make more money. You will always have to go in for fills. I have bibs and they stated I'd get denied. They have a them of lawyers who will fight your case. I'm sure they wouldn't have wasted my time by setting up all these appointments if I wouldn't get approved. I hope not....they'd be wasting my time. My hands are getting numb again. These last year have bwen rocky health wise for me. By phones are like snap crackle and pop. My eyes were always burning, insomnia memory loss. I haven't had many problems at all. But I have to do something before it gets out of control again.
Hello, on FB I found one for Gastric Bypass and asked to join... Have not heard back yet... If they look at my page they will probably say no... I take my grandchildren to a cooking class every week and post photos of what they did... Everything I don't eat, but they are not the one with the weight issue... I teach them everything in moderation... lol... Anyway... I too developed health issues due to surgery and deal with them everyday... We probably have a lot to share... On Facebook my name is ... GiGi ZarbCousin... The photo is of me standing near a bay in a dark blue shirt... Look me up
Mix emotions for you, sorry you have to have a revision and glad your appointment went well... Do you attend any type of support meetings? I go to two a month for WLS... have since before my actual surgery. What I have learned in them is not to many people are happy with the band while others are doing well with the sleeve. My step-daughter has the band and is not doing well with it at all.. At this point she is so discouraged she doesn't even go in for her appointments anymore to get fills or anything else... Just do your homework before you decide... Had the sleeve been available when I did my RNY I would have went with the sleeve... But I did not have that option back then. What ever you choose just remember not everyone gets a second chance, count yourself lucky and really apply your new tool to your lifestyle. I am struggling so much with loosing my extra weight, i eat between 900 and 1200 calories a day. I am 99.5% healthy/clean eating... It just plain sucks... I did develop health issues after surgery and I am not able to move much (exercise), that is why my calorie count is on the lower end. Anyway... I'll be here to support you and cheer you on!!! And I agree your photo is beautiful!! Are you on Facebook?
cherina, btw. You are drop dead gorgeous... holy crap! Are you SURE you need a revision??? LOL
Cherina, you are lucky to be having a revision. I will not even attempt to do that to my body and my mind again. I barely made it out alive the first time around (seriously almost died from complications and long term illness from this surgery), so it has to be a slow and steady battle for me Im afraid, but I wish you all the luck. What is the perfect BMI for revision?
