Go and see a rheumatologist. I have fibro and psoriasis. She ran some test and came by psorartic arthritis. I get injections for it every week. They will also do bloodwork for check for different things. Maybe this will help.

That sounds really upsetting, especially after being able to maintain. Did your doctor talk with you about possible side effects? I remember having clients who were on Seroquel and complained about weight gain. Have you been able to follow any sort of strength training or exercise? Good luck!!

Haha!! At least you don't have to look at it. :)

On the positive side, though, my scars look good, the swelling is way down, and my boobs look amazing! I just have to keep my arms down. Just wish the next few weeks would fast forward...as he said it would take 2 weeks for them to close. Even his assistant was amazed that he was just going to leave it open.

Thanks. My surgeon looked at it and said it will heal on its own. OMG. He had his assistant cover it with a gauze pad. I see him on Monday anyway, but I'm really worried about infection. That and it looks like the sand pit monster from Star Wars!!

Yeah, I went there.

Sounds awful!  I have not had a brachioplasty, and now I'm thinkin' I might never!  Hope your surgeon has a fast solution for you.

Trying not to vomit here. Had most of my sutures removed yesterday after day 8, and had extensive draining out of both arms. Have a small hole under my right arm, and my left hole seems to be getting bigger. Ugh. It's like nickel-sized right now. Both holes make a gurgling/whooshing sound (OMG) and I'm using maxi pads to cover them up and contain the draining. I put a text in to my surgeon's assistant, the one *****moved the sutures. Has anyone else had this rather disgusting phenomenon? I can actually see the tissues within my left arm hole. Aahhhh!!

Seriously grossed out right now. And I've had exploratory, a panniculectomy, c-section, etc. I know gross. This is too much!!

I realize I'm not sticking to the high protein and haven't for a long time, but I've pretty much been able to eat without worrying about gaining weight, until now.

I gained about 10 lbs in 2 weeks after being put on Seroquel XR and I was craving sugar like crazy.  I finally went off it and the cravings went away and I haven't had candy in 2 weeks, but I STILL keep gaining weight!  I've gone from 135 to 150 as of today.  I'd been struggling to get BELOW 147 and now it's UP to 150.

I can pretty much eat just about anything now and I don't get very nauseous anymore, so I've got to consciously stay away from all pasta and bread and stick to high protein/chicken and veggies.

This absolutely SUCKS!  I really hope I haven't messed up my metabolism and get stuck on gaining again after all this work!

Wow, my surgeon and his dietician NEVER recommended 3 meals a day.  Between eating reduced amounts, hunger, and reactive hypoglycemia, I cannot imagine not eating every couple of hours!

I feel bad because they say to ONLY eat your 3 meals a day, but I can't because of that.  Good to know I am not the only one.  I was wondering if it was maybe one of the meds I am on.
