has anyone here with that procedure experience VERY slow weight loss? I am going out of my mind.
Congrats! You two are a cute couple and you look adorable in your bed selfie!
Personally, knowing what to do and being able to execute is a whole other world. I am currently in therapy and doing EMDR to help with some of the trauma's I've been through that contributed to my anxiety and stress. I tend to anxiety eat and working through this has helped. Not cured, but helped. The reality is until you feel "ready" mentally all the well wishes in the world don't help.
I've been watching my cousin work out, lose weight and try and rah rah me into joining but until I feel ready I just can't do it.
I use double rich chocolate or peanut butter cookie.
As for the anemia and b12 deficiency, are you supplementing those things?

Hi
I drink a macronutrient meal replacement that is low glycemic and has 22 to 36 grams of undenatured whey protein from clean cows. I feel great now but before I was severely anemic, vitamin d and b 12 deficient. The shakes have about 230 calories. I am my wls in march 2001.
hey everyone... what does everyone use as a protein drink? I have never really found one I really like... its 6 years October 1. However I went to see my doctor and I am anemic, and b12 deficient. She told me I have to drink more protein.. help
Being 300 pounds, you will most likely have loose skin after losing 150 pounds. I went from 340 to 140 and had tons (but I am much older than you). Most of us have hairloss. I lost hair fro the 3 month until he 7 month mark and started regrowing it around the 9 month mark. Honestly in all my years here I have only seen a small handful of people who still have an issue with hairloss after they reach goal. 99% of us seem to grow it back.
Some people do get depressed about the loose skin. Many learn to love themselves as-is and some of us get plastic surgery. Again, the overwhelming majority of us are so thrilled with the weightloss and getting or health back we would still do it again even knowing we will have excess skin.

How do I become a member of this group if I am not already? It's been a while and I need help. Getting back and staying on track.
I have been there. I would do a nutritional cleanse (not the colon kind) and start eating "clean" and increase your protein intake (no more than 1 gram per pound). I would also consider pre and pro biotics to get your gut balanced out. I ended up doing a 30 day cleanse system a while back and within a week I was back in control and by the end of the month food was fuel again and I was able to make better decisions.
