Thank you. I lost my father when I was pregnant with my son. I was always so sad they didn't get to meet but man are they alike. They have the same sense of humor and the same beautiful blue eyes.

I did not have renal issues. I had renal failure. I was on a razor's edge for many years. I had enough failure to be on the transplant list but just enough function to avoid dialysis.
For me after Rny I ate on the lower side of the recommended protein scale and I took less of the fat soluble vitamins. I worked closely with a nutritionist who works with transplant and Rny patients. My doctor and I also closely watched my labs.
I do know that my weight loss bought me time and made it where I was in top physical shape when that blessed phone call came.

I"ve had loss but wonderful things as well. I got married (big ole church wedding), I have enough money even though I don't work, and my boy is growing into a cool man/boy.
I got to wake up today and see some many old friends on this post. Makes a girl happy.

You were one of my favorite posters when I first started visiting OH, Deb. I'm happy to see you posting again! I wish you much luck in shedding the regain. There are many of us fighting the same demon.
