weird food, no, its mainly meat , low carb veggies, and fat. i dont follow the fat like other keto people.i do have strawberries, raspberry, black berrys. i belong to keto and gastric bypass groups on facebook. i really try to eat gastric bypass way more than keto lately, small portions
Thanks so much. I never eat pasta, rice, or bread, but sometimes get carried away with chips or crackers. UGH. I downloaded a keto diet and it was a log of weird food. Do you just do veggies and proten i.e. meat chicken fish? Can you have fruit? Thanks so much for your support. And CONGRATS on your reloss!!
i had RNY 2003.... try and stay away from pasta, bread, potatoes, anything starchy. if you cant then try and do 1/4 cup to 1/3 cup of carbs.. i weigh and measure everything i did gain from bad foods i have lost most of my regain almost 50 pounds. i do have at least one protein shake a day. 3 days ago i turned to keto to lose the regain. maybe something for you. or you can try and just do meat and veggies. i struggle as well.. I had a RNY gastric bypass in 2004 and lost 100 lbs. I have been fortunate enough to keep it off give/take up/down 3-4 lbs. In the past, I was always able to get off the gain. I'm struggling desperately now. I'm up 7 lbs and am scared to death. I cannot seem to let go of the carbs and sugar.
Any advice. I know going back to basics is the trick, but I cannot see to get there.

I was just reading your post. I live in Louisiana and do not have one of those clinics near me. I have gained all but 10 pounds back and am gaining rapidly. I am so discouraged and outdone with myself. Can you tell me about the HCG and the BeBalanced Hormone Re-Balancing, I see you posted a year ago. What do you think of this program after a year?
Very insightful. I did start drinking a glass of wine every day after not drinking alcohol for over a decade. I dont drink to get drunk. I like the taste of moscato and the brand I buy has a low alcohol content, but carbs that I should not have. Why? I don't know. I don't go out and I don't have friends outside of work and family. I have a glass in the evening, watch retro tv and go to bed. My daughter and my pets are my companions. I take care of my mother so there isn't much time for getting "out". I can't wait for spring and working on the memorial garden I created for Dad and husband. The physical activity of yardwork is the best thing I do for myself. What do you do strictly for you?
I dont know or understand why we put off dealing with loss. For myself, I think that my grief is real, but it is personal, but it is quiet. I think if I seek counseling, I will have to face it out loud.
My dietary vices are carbs in the form of moscato and popcorn of all things. Carbs are more prevalent for me in my diet because I digest many snack foods easier than whole foods. Dry cereal with no milk. Things like crackers etc. Pasta? No. Toast, but not bread. Why is this? I have no explanation.Chicken and beef are still difficult to digest. Grilled or baked fish is best for me. I love flounder. It is still a guessing game sometimes.
