How Much Pasta?

I know some don't eat it. I know it is a very poor choice and I hate to eat it because I know this, BUT with that said I have 2 kids and our family is very limited in funds so we have many meals that consist of pasta. I asked my doc yesterday how much I should be able to eat now at almost 13 months out. He says 1/3 of a cup. What? I swear I was able to eat a cup of beef stroganoff the other day. I could be wrong since I eyeballed it. It may have been a half but 1/3 just seems so small to me now. If you eat it how much can you eat. Mine is usually like the hamburger helper stuff and that's all I eat, nothing else with it. Thanks! amber 296/142/140 -154 (2 more to my goal)
