Awhile back I wrote about my inability to get a good nights sleep because the numbness, tingling and burning in my right leg kept waking me up all night. Well, after bloodtests, xrays and an MRI, the Dr. sent me for Physical Therapy. She diagnosed me within 10 minutes of examining me. Diagnosis: Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction (which was irritating the sciatic nerve) Treatment: series of 15 minutes of heat, then specfic exercises, then 15 minutes of cold, and physical therapy twice a week. The goal is to get the joints, bones, and muscles all back in the right places, and happy, and strengthed to hold everything in the right place. I am happy to report that I can already tell a difference! The burning, and other symptoms is far less severe. I'm looking forward to being pain free in a few months! =) Michele

Michele - that's great news! It's always good to know what we're dealing with and to have a plan. I hope that everything works out for you here, and that you will indeed be pain-free in short order. Thanks for letting us know about this. Carlita

Hey Michele, that is great news!! Always good to know not only WHAT the problem is, but also the SOLUTION!! A few years ago I was suffering from sciatica and it was awful. My massage therapist was actually able to help a lot. Glad to hear you are on the mend! Pat
