Hey you guys... it's been a busy week for me... Some may recall that I had an interview for a big job.... well they offered it to me.... I told my boss about it, he offered me a $7,000 raise to stay... so I stayed and then during all of this intense negotiations I had my tummy tuck!! Dang, I'm worn out for an old lady!!! This all happened over a 5 day period..... anyways, I am healing fine from the tt... sans 10 pounds of flab and skin... I have two more weeks off and I think I'll take it just to relax and contemplate my NEW navel.... and it's a cutie too!!! This wls and resulting plastics has been quite a ride.. and now it's time to relax a while..... enjoying my rewards.... I think I can actually say that I love my new body... and it did so well in the surgery and recovery... I not only have my health, but I have a very flat tight tummy..... Anybody need any medicated powder or antifungal cream... guess I wont be needing that anymore for my belly overhang.... Thanks for all of your support, thoughts, and prayers.... Laurie - minus 186 lbs!!

Hello Laurie - Welcome home and congratulations on BOTH accomplishments! Plastic surgery is difficult in of itself, but to be negotiating employment during this time had to be very taxing. Glad to hear that things went well with your surgery and you're thrilled with the results. I can SO relate to the excitement that comes with a NEW belly-button! I was absolutely amazed that they could look so small and dainty. Sometimes it really is the SIMPLE things in life...? Enjoy your weekend - Lei

Great news there Laurie for the PS and the job negotiations. You should be proud of yourself and your successes. Remember to be very good to yourself and heal well. Enjoy your healing process and relax. Best of luck to you. You sound so upbeat about yourself and that is so good. I am still using various products under my amble boops and the huge panni fold over. I must be so careful not to get open sores and rashes. Hopefully I will have my PS next fall in October. Monica 330/203/16? healthier, happier, sexier, and so thankful

I was curious if Blue Cross payed for your TT, I live in NC and was told By the Drs. I would have a time trying to get Blue Cross Blue Shield to cover the TT, I am almost 5 yrs out and have a good amount of overhang i would love to get rid of. Thanks Bruce

Hi Bruce, BC/BS (Regence) would rather I die than drop a dime on me... seriously, those greedy -astards could not care less about my health needs. They didn't pay for my wls and they sure weren't gonna pay for my tt even though I have had horrible oozing rashes under my belly... Sometimes, you just have to take things into your own control in order to get what you deserve.... plus it's all tax deductible.... Anyways, didn't mean to rant, but the thought of an insurance co actually helping me out with my heath is something that has not happened in my lifetime..... Maybe yours will... just don't let money get in the way of you fulfilling your needs..... Take care Laurie - minus 186 lbs!!
