I'm really tired
Hi Daisy, I went to your profile to see if I could get some info on where you are at--post op wise, but there is nothing there. So, based on the very tiny entry you've made--there is just no way to know what you're going through. So many things, Diet-sleep apnea--stress, illness. I would make a Dr's appointment and start there. Good Luck Bek Foster
Not knowing how far out you are, here are a few suggestions:
Be sure you are getting 60-90 gms of protein a day
Be sure you are drinking 64 oz of fluid a day
Be sure you are not eating too many "white" carbs
While it's hard when you are pooped, you need to exercise.
Your vitamins not be doing it for you. I take Optisource from Walgreens. They are made for WL patients. I can tell the difference. You need to have your levels checked. You could be low on iron, B12, protein. Go see your WL doc. Something isn't right. You could also have hypothyroidism. Make an appointment. This isn't something to mess around with. You might fall asleep at the wheel, kill yourself or someone else. You could end up damaging your organs because of low levels of vitamins etc. Those are worse case senarios. GO TO THE DOCTOR!
Don't know what my labs are today. Haven't been to the doctor since last June. But they have always been very good. I'm not doing anything different than I've done in the past.
I tried to update my profile but got too frustrated with the login.
Post-op 3 years lost 110 and need to loose 10-15 more. I haven't lost a single pound since about 1 1/2 years post op. thats ok. If I never loose another once I'm thrilled. But right now I'm tired. I'll be going in next week.
My labs turned on me within 3 months. Last labs done in early November were all fine, but labs done in February showed I was way low on B-12 and my thyroid was way low again.
Start with the labs, that should tell a lot, but let the Dr. know how you are feeling before labs are done so he/she can check for all the normal culprits. I firmly believe we should never wait more than 6 months to have our labs done. You may need to double up on some of the vitamins, but wait to hear from your Dr. after labs.

What does your doc say? Do you need more B-12? or do you get monthly shots of that? You may need an every 3 week shot instead of every 4, many post ops do. Iron could be low - have your doc check as it's not normal to be that tired on a regular basis.
