Repost for friend from MB ~ Hole in Stomach

I'm reposting this from the MB from a Feb 05 friend I've gotten very close to. She has had problems for a while and the docs are finally getting somewhere. If you have had experience with this please post so I can get back with her, her computer is down this morning so I'm trying to help her. Hugs, Dana This is the POST: Just had 3rd EGD in 4 weeks today. Have a huge ulcer, stricture and now a fistula. I've been dilated twice now and today when he did it he comes back and says how I have a hole on the side of the pouch going into the old stomach. Anybody know what this means? Hear of this happening to anybody else? Don't check out profile, haven't updated in months. Other than that I'm 13 months out, lost past goal, have gotten to 109 from 230. Thanks for the help.

I have a women in my support group that had a fitsula. She never reached goal the fitsula was pretty early on post op she had to have the surgery again. MaryLyn

I know of someone *****cently experienced this. She had her surgery redone also and is doing better than ever now. Laurie
