19 months and have not lost in a while
Hello,
I am 19 months out and about 38 pounds from goal. I have not lost a pound in about 6 months. I try to do everything right but it seems it has just stopped.
I don't dump and I know I can eat more than I used to. Is this why I've stopped losing?
I need some input from those who've maybe been here. I don't want to think this is all there is though if it is, I'm thankful.
Thanks
Deb
Deb,
I am almost 21 months out and I am still continuing to lose (16 lbs below doctors goal and 17 lbs from personal goal). I excercise 7 days a week, all 7 days I do cardio (walking, swimming, elliptical or spin class) and 3 days a week I include weightlifting. I also journal my food daily in fitday.com and try diligently to stick with 3 meals and 1 snack (hi-protein and complex carbs veggies...my snack is a powercrunch bar or stallone pudding). If I eat simple carbs (bread, pasta, potatos, rice, etc...) including fruit my weight plateaus. Keep in mind you can eat more than you could in the beginning and the amount of calories your body needs now is far less.
Hope this helps.
Mary
