help - uncomfortable attire/garmets after arm lift & breast reduction/lift
This is what Ive been wearing on my arms since the lift
http://www.makemeheal.com/mmh/product.do?id=10023&procid=36&catid=479
....its NOT comfortable. What have others worn? Im 2 wks out and I also had a breast lift/reduction the same time, so, maybe its the combo of the arms and bra?
Im back at work, went back immediately, but, the garmets/clothes are irritating under the arm pit and when my arms rub the sides of my breasts.
HELP!!!
Wow, when I first saw the picture of this garment, I was jealous as all get up. It looked to me that it would be the perfect support garment for the arms. When I had my lift and arms combo, the only thing the doc gave me was sports bra that hooked in the front and ace bandages for the arms, and they were so uncomfortable, and hard to keep in place.. not to mention a total pain to try to put back on, especially when no one was there to help.
After reading your comment about the rubbing under the arms, though, I can see how uncomfortable that would be. Could you possibly use a sports bra under this to help alleviate the rubbing, or maybe a tank top so that the area under the arms doesn't have direct contact?
I think you will be amazed though, at the help the compression will give your arms. I do wish this was made available to me post op.
