This is what Ive been wearing on my arms since the lift http://www.makemeheal.com/mmh/product.do?id=10023&procid=36&catid=479 ....its NOT comfortable. What have others worn? Im 2 wks out and I also had a breast lift/reduction the same time, so, maybe its the combo of the arms and bra? Im back at work, went back immediately, but, the garmets/clothes are irritating under the arm pit and when my arms rub the sides of my breasts. HELP!!!

Hi sweety.....miss talking to you! 3 mos on the sports bra and then 4-6 on the arms. My arms are WAY swollen. My scars are minimal thou.....only under armpit and 1/5 way down my arm....but bc of the sportsbra and the arm garmets, the rubbing is awful and uncomfortbale!

I think I may have mentioned this before--but I used little kids tights on my arms after the lipo. I also used the support surgery stockings that they give you for your legs (cut the foot part off)--those were great--really supportive and easy.

Wow, when I first saw the picture of this garment, I was jealous as all get up. It looked to me that it would be the perfect support garment for the arms. When I had my lift and arms combo, the only thing the doc gave me was sports bra that hooked in the front and ace bandages for the arms, and they were so uncomfortable, and hard to keep in place.. not to mention a total pain to try to put back on, especially when no one was there to help. After reading your comment about the rubbing under the arms, though, I can see how uncomfortable that would be. Could you possibly use a sports bra under this to help alleviate the rubbing, or maybe a tank top so that the area under the arms doesn't have direct contact? I think you will be amazed though, at the help the compression will give your arms. I do wish this was made available to me post op. Wendy

I had the same garment . . though I didn't have a breast lift, just the arms. I finally went back to my ace bandages. Thicker. Kept the incision from rubbing all day as I moved my arms.

What did the manufacturer advise you when you contacted them? Almost all manufacturers have customer support help on the web. tee
