WLS & Shopaholics
Oh, I do it big time. I think it's because before I hated to shop. Nothing looked good, so why bother.
I don't buy from catalogs much. My body is so wierd shaped now that I just don't trust the sizes. I have to try them on.
I share a walk in closet with my husband & my half is full & over flowing. I have moved many of my things into a different closet. I keep eying my husband's side of the closet. Hmm, get rid of him so I can have his closet space?
Fortunately, I'm not breaking the bank. We have a very nice store similar to GoodWill but much better quality. I buy all kinds of name brand sweaters & pants for 2-3 dollars.
I don't skimp on my underthings though. Now that I can, I shop at Victoria's Secret & I love their panties & bras. They make me feel sexy & even though no one sees them, it makes me happy. My husband called me his playboy bunny today. Guess, I'll keep him afterall.

I tell people all the time that I need a 12 step program for shopaholicism. I agree with Dixie that it's all about how clothes look on me now. I commented a while back that when I buy clothes now, I look in every single mirror - the front, back and sides to make sure everything looks good. Before, I would glance in the mirror to make sure it didn't look awful - and that was all it had to do, not look awful - but I certainly didn't want to spend too long looking at myself. I have been pretty lucky with the consignment shops and the sales but I totally splurged on a cashemere winter coat. My husband simply smiles and says I'm making up for all those years when I bought next to nothing. My mother, the queen of frugality, says that I deserve to spend a small fortune on my clothes (she is a trifle proud, what can I tell you?). I guess if I have to have a "problem" at this point, this is the one I want!

Oh yeah, add me to the group! I love catalogs! I recently wrote to Catherines, 5th ave, Lane Bryant and Romans to tell them I didn't need their services anymore That felt very good! My favorite is probably Coldwater Creek or Chicos. I try very hard not to buy much though as I'm still going down in sizes. We have a great consignment shop here in town that I hit every other month.

Oh Boy!!
I have crowded out my husband in our closet and put my overflow in my daughters old room.............
I am currently addicted to the "higher end" and even some of the not-so-higher-end thrift stores. It is amazing to me what people will give away. I have found some name-brand, really nice things in a size.......wait for it...........8!!
I have not been this size since I was 19 and pregnant with my son. (He's 24 now, so it's been awhile!!)
Count me in! I could be a charter member! If I don't go shopping every weekend, I feel like the weekend was a waste! Like I really need anymore clothes - NOT! But they are just so cute! But I never pay full price, only buy if it's on sale. I love Christopher and Banks, Younkers, and Gordman's. Of course, the old stand by - Penney's. I love Coldwater Creek but it's just too pricey for me. They don't seem to have sales either. My side of the walk in closet is stuffed and so is the double closet in my sewing room. I have to keep buying more huggable hangers from HSN. My hubby used to have a clothing allowance set up for us. He'd put so much each month into the savings account for clothes for each of us. I'm so in the hole, I'll never see the light of day, but I figure for years, I only bought because I had to. Now it's fun and I look great!
I love to shop now too. But sometimes I get so scared that all the stuff I buy will not fit some day and here I have spent all this money once again on new stuff. I love to shop with my 12 year old and I think she likes it too. We went together the other day and got matching jeans from American Eagle. Her size 0, me size 4. Woo Hoo. I also love Banana Republic, Aeropostale, and Hollister.
My husband loves it too so at least I have that on my side. He likes to take me more than I like to go sometimes.
