Got to Manhattan Ear Nose & Throat yesterday at 6am for a 730am surgery. Went into the operating room about 845 after being drawn all over and then woke up at 945 when they we wheeling me out. I was in recovery till about 12nn, no real pain, just nausea. I tried to leave in a wheel chair around 12nn, but, ended up vomitting all down my front (I have to remember that I MUST PULL THE TRIGGER AND VOMIT AFTER ANESTHESIA OR IM NO GOOD)....Ended up sleeping for another hr or so and was home at 3pm after a short cab ride 20 blks. Only taking Tylenol for pain. Last night, my left arm leaked fluid (from the lipo) and my right arm bleed from the incision. My best friend came over, and shes like "you sure they didnt make you an A/B cup?" I thought I looked awful flat and small. This morning, I headed over the 10 blks to his office and he re-wrapped my arms and took off my bra to show me "the twins", they are HIGH/THIGHT AND PERKY....and do look a lot more like C's under the BIG OLE "big girl" sports bra the hospital sent me home in. My compression garmets will arrive tomorrow from homerecovery.com, just in time for me to bathe and smell/look presentable. Im already BORED OUT OF MY FRICKING MIND! But, as of this moment, as my mom is packing up to go home, I cannot even imagine how I will be able to bathe, wash my hair (let alone style it) and get dressed, I cannot even bend my arms to put on a coat let alone but on a top/sweater, etc. *****SCAR UPDATE: for the arm lift, about 2-3 inches coming out of my arm pit and then down my arm about 2-3 inches, NOT EVEN a 1/3 of the way to my elbow. And for the twins, lollipop plus under the breast 9anchored) Oh, and get this, my job, trying to be all sweet, sends me a delivery to my apt, whatever happened to flowers/plant or ballons....they sent me an ENORMOUS tray of cookies/cakes/brownines and muffins (the platter is the size of a 16" pizza).....OMG! They really dont know me at all, but, then again, they never knew I was once 310+ lbs. So, if my mom (who is 113lbs by the way, doesnt eat it all, Im dumping it in the trash or putting it outside for the homeless)!

Heather--Great news you are home and recovering. Glad the surgery went well. Sounds great! Hey--don't forget those arm pics for me--please--please... I would absolutely love to get an arm lift with the scar not going all the way to my elbow.

Lynda, I took pre-op pics on Monday night and I took some pics yesterday when I took the bandages off briefly, my incision is so small, in fact, I thought he maybe forgot to do the arms. Im curious to see ehat itll look like when the swell dies down from the lipo. But, I will tell you that the incision comes out of the arm pit and is maybe 4 inches long down the inside of my arm. Give me a few days till the bandages come completly off and I can shower, and ill email you.
