Mornin' Peeps... I have to make this quick because I am STARVING and I need to get the kids butts moving so they don't miss the bus this morning. I think I posted a week or so ago about RE-losing the 11 lbs I gained between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Well, I tried a pair of pants...I mean real pants and not sweats, last night and they fit...AGAIN!! I do consider this a WOWmoment because when I tried them on right after the first of the year, they were way too tight and quite uncomfortable. We went out to dinner with my brother and his wife last night and I decided to try real pants on so I wouldn't hear his standard quote..."you really should wear...pants". He knows I have worked so hard during my journey and I think he thinks I am jipping myself by keeping it "loose" with sweats all the time. I do like wearing real pants, but during my heavy days, just didn't because they made me look ridiculous and were terribly uncomfortable. Well, now my typing is starting to suffer due to hunger so I am off like a prom dress for now...Be back later and thanks for all the unending support and love here on the Grads board...YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!! Be good....Cap'n K-Man

What an awesome WOW moment! Its nice to know that men feel the same way about the pants factor as women do.....I have lived in my sweats too. I find it hard to let the big ones go. I have never had sweat pants that were too big on me. Even those comfortable pants were always very tight but they were forgiving and gave! I have bought some pants smaller (one size) as an incentive to continue to my goal. I remind myself that there are a few new things I haven't wore in the closet waiting for me....It helps to get me to the gym and think about my portion sizes...I know it sounds like torture but its working for me. Thanks for sharing. I have always enjoyed your posts! Debbie

Hey Debbie!! It did feel so good and I have to admit that I thought it might sound weird coming from a guy with the pants thing, but clothes are clothes I guess. It's funny too because before I had surgery, I owned size 3x sweats and they were bordering on tight. I have since gone down to MEDIUMS and they even have room in them too!! This has been such a fulfilling journey that it is almost difficult to put it in words...HAVE A SUPER WEEKEND...Cap'n K-Man
