Hey all! I just discovered this board today and am SO glad! I love the other boards, but this seems to address what I am going through currently--thanks! Well, my post is just to say that I had a small personal triumph last week and it caused me to lose 2lbs this week! I had been stalled at 156 for the last month or so and started "grazing" on SUNCHIPS--darn things! So last week, I took almost an entire bag that was at my house and walked over to the garbage...crinkled and smashed the bag of chips into little teeny tiny crumbs and threw them away! I haven't bought anymore and in just a week, I am down to 154!! YaY! Okay...now next week I am going back to my daily walks at work--I decided to start setting a new goal for myself every week to get back on track, as I'd like to break into the 140s before my TT and abdominoplasty in April. Thanks for listening to my rambling ~Phoenix 287/154/145

That is terrific! I did the same thing with the small flavored rice cakes. Amy

This brings me back to the time that I first encountered "SunChips"... and in a big way..... When my friend and I were about 18 or so, we were driving down the road and noticed a Snacks truck broken down on the side of the road, so we stopped and asked him if he needed help. I had a cell phone, at that time they were pretty rare and I had one of those ultra-huge ones, and said he could use it to call for help. He did, and a tow truck from his company came, and he was so thankful, HE FILLED UP MY CAR, trunk, and backseat with SUNCHIPS!!! God, my friend was addicted, and I ate alot of them too. Just wanted to share!! And GREAT JOB kicking those things! I know my friend went into withdrawal when the 150 bags were gone. Michelle

WTG! I know I went through that with pretzels ... then with Nancy's baked pita chips ... then popcorn ... NO MORE! You're welcome to hang out here all you want ... good to have you here! Karyn

Good for you women. I especially like the visual image of your destroying the bag of chips. It is empowering to do something like that, you took control on many levels. Continued good luck on your WLS journey. Monica age 58 330/203/16? healthier, happier, sexier, and so thankful

Good for you! Best of luck on your upcoming tummy tuck. It sounds like you'll get into the 40's with no problems. Just don't let those sunchips jump in your cart next time you go shopping. amber 296/156/140 -140 (16 more to goal)

Ya know, on the bag in reads "excellent source of whole grains." Yeah right, I'll eat my scottish oatmeal... but I will compare the nutritional value between the two. Well, at least it doesn't have any trans fats...

Phoenix LOVED your post....I actually did the exact same thing with a bag of soy chips......they are healthy I guess.... but for me they are a trigger food....couldnt think of anything else to do with them other than crush them up and toss them....oh the joys of food addiction and recovery Stacey
