Good Morning OH Family!!!! DO you know what I love about you guys???? You're Honest, and will lay it to me straight.....Soooo..... What do you guys think about a post op taking Green Tea supplements? I mean you hear that green tea has great health benefits but I wanted some feedback from others who may have taken it to help with getting rid of those last stubborn pounds. I could really use the energy that they claim to boost. Let me say, I just had all my one year labs and they were great, in fact my B12 was to high and they told me to slack up a bit on whatever I was taking for that. LOL...I said all that to say this, lack of energy has nothing to do with labs not being great!!! I think it's my way to busy lifestyle!!!!!! I did buy a bottle of these Green Tea Supplements for my husband, who needs to lose about 75lbs. and here is the Facts: Calcium 100mg. Chromium 250mg Metabolic Support Blend 775mg. (which provides 90mg. EGCG and 50mg. naturally occuring caffine) Green tea leaf standardized extract, eleuthero root standardized extract, fo ti root, garcinia fruit standardized extract, guarana seed standardized extract, bladderwrack kelp and gota kola (whole plant). Okay, Let me hear it!!!!!! Take it OR leave it????? Tammy Oh, and this Relacore I've been reading about, sounds way to good to be true, if you've got an opinion or an experience with it please share. I love a challenge...especially one where the poster really knows the answer to the question! If Relacore sounds too good to be true, does it make Green Tea supplements the "real deal" because they are based in herbs and therefore more effective, or more safe, or how could a compound that is herb based hurt you? In my (mostly never) humble opinion, rather than spending your $ on voodoo and caffiene pills that are disguised in herbal goodness, how 'bout accepting that your success toward goal comes from within. I think you are mostly there...after all, you did not get to where you are today solely because you have a resected gut! Remember where you came from (the land of the Morbidly Obese) and only just a year ago. It will take everything you have inside to not only reach your goal, but to never, ever go back to Morbid Obesity. The commitment can never go away. Every minute of every day makes you or breaks you. As you are evolving from MO, to rapid weight loss, to slower loss and eventually stabilized weight...you will (you better!) revel in your unwavering commitment and in knowing that YOU made it happen...not a frickin' herbal supplement, bottle of Speed, or diet mentality. A lifetime of success can be yours if you gather every ounce of your inner strength every day, and recognize that some days are easier than others, and life sends you challenges...it is your commitment that will get you through it all.
