Okay somewhere I read that our moods can be affected by the foods we eat....Now what I would like to know is what are the foods that can make you happy and the foods that can put you deep in the dumps. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I was looking at a few websites but they don't seem to answer the mail for me. I often wondered if there are combinations that we should stay clear of as well... Dealing with a lot of stress right now and I want to be sure I eat HAPPY food! LOL Thanks for input. Debbie

Thanks Joann! After reading the articles that Reborn Butterfly posted and your post maybe I need more fats and carbs in my diet. I know I need to up the fat...I am flaking all over the place! Dry patches everywhere and its annoying. I guess this weeks goal is to add more of these foods and see if there is an improvement. Thank you for all the suggestions. Can I ask how do you prepare the pasta n peas? I have never had that and it sounds good. Thanks hope your weekend isn't too cool in Boston! Debbie

debby i make it 2differnt ways even the pasta fusula and peas are made 2 ways the pasta n chickpeas are made the white way this is how i make the white way i get maybe 1/4 cup of olive oil chopped up garlic ..some red perr flakes and brown it take off burner immediatly so the garlic dont burn boil mater for macaroni small macarinis like baby shells, ditalini, tubbetti, elbows.. make the macaroni drain it leave maybe a cup of water from macaroni in it put in a can of non fat veg or chicken broth small can add the oil add a can of cannelli beans or white beans or the chikpeas or peas sometimes i even boil frozen peas with the macaroni and if i have the time i will get dried white beans and cook them or dried chickpeas.. mix everything togehter and add a handful of grated chjeese let it settle for 10 minutes do not disturb it and its great its got the carbs but the legumes are good for you the red one i make is get a onion and some garlic gloves brown it add a can of recipe ready tomatoes..add italian spices i dont measure i just throw in cook for a hour boil my macaroni save a cup of wayer al;so add the gravy (sauce ) and the beans or peas add a handful of grated cheese and let it settle do not distub for at least 10 minutes enjoy JoAnn
