What time of day do you prefer to weigh yourself? Mine is first thing in the AM after my morning pee and bm. Marianne

Post Pee. Post Poop. Without a stitch of clothing. Completely empty stomach (not even a sip of water). I work this moment to get the optimum results!!! Admittedly, when the scale goes up I do take responsibilty and own my challenges. I do far better with success. Karen

Next you're going to tell us you exhale and hold your breath as you weigh. All that hot air building up in you could cause personal momentary levitation. You might say, "That would take an awful lot of hot air." I rest my case. Ducking even now Nowhere Man/PH/Jay

I view the "resting of your case" as opportunity to listen, engage, learn, and only bring you nearer to your certain lapse of judgement...ducking is not going to provide the defense you desire. The hot air within is only rivaled by my motivation to outfat, outwit, outmaneuver, outoftown, outtolunch you. ...ducking...as if!

Being able to induce a levitated state by means of self-inflation could be a useful tool if you want to become a super-hero. Think of yourself as The Human Puffer-fish, capable of dealing with low-life light-weights. In a crucial situation, you suddenly inflate yourself to 5 times your normal size, and float above them, threaten to fall and crush their puny selves. The miscreants run for their lives, traumatized with psychic scars that will haunt them to the 10th generation. Oh, Karen, it's a gift. Embrace it! Nowhere Man/PH/Jay

Now you're talkin! Damaged psyches, trauma, a haunting fear that is passed through generation to generation...I will move on from my outer WLS royalty and try to find my inner puffer-fish. Jay, your challenge has inspired my journey. I will not walk in the footsteps of my forefathers (the formerly MO puffer-fish), lo I will find my own path to higher ground despite the daily changes in landscape. Walk with me...or just swim.

buck naked in the am after peeing. I wish I could have a bm every morning! The things we end up talking about after this surgery. Hugs, Bridget

Ditto on all of those... I even wait to take my vitamins! And I wait about 15 minutes after I get out of bed (for some odd reason I think those extra steps around might take something off). Michelle
