Iron Therapy Anyone?

Anemia is not a lot fallen to men. I honestly have little to offer other than to say, "Do attend to this promptly". Life is short, and there is no need to make it anymore so, or to lessen the quality of the time we have. Nowhere Man/PH/Jay

My doc has us use ferrous fumerate. Seems to work pretty well at keeping my iron levels up. I got kinda low at first so I doubled up and up the iron level came. It didn't bother my gut either. Now I use Optisource vitimans from Walgreens. It's chewable and has I think, 30 mg of iron. After the TT, I was pretty low so increased the iron using the ferrous fumerate.

I take ferrous gluconate Rx from my surgeon. 100 pills is under $8.00---that is enough pills for 100 days or 3.3 months. mighty cheap...cheaper than any store bought iron that does not work as well as an RX iron supplement. Sandy in Tucson
