Hi my name's Kim and I have posted to other boards here at OH but I've never been here. I had Lap RNY on December 19, 2002. That day I weighed 343 lbs. Today I weigh 137, so I've lost over 200 lbs. I've been a Post-Op over three years now, and I feel wonderful. Nice to meet you guys here. Kim

Kim, I am new to this board too. It feels good to see faces I used to see and how great everyone looks and feels. I came back to OH to get myself on track again as I have stalled and was'nt doing anything about it. I really want to drop another 20 pounds but I am so happy so far! Laurie

Hey there, I am new also. You have done so well. I started at 240ish and am now 140ish depending on the day and time of month. I havent lost a pound since i was 10 months out but I am more than happy at the weight I am at. I just passed my 17 month mark and am hoping to get my PS here very soon. It is nice to meet you all and I am glad I found this board. My old board seemed to have died. Monica

Monica, It's nice to meet you =) I will lose down to about 132, then my body absolutely rebels and I will gain up to around 139 and I stop and go back to about 137 and that's where I stay until something causes me to lose again. It's really strange. The lowest weight I ever reached was 127 lbs. I think I stayed there ONE day and that was it. I'm not kidding either =) Kim

Hi Kim, I'm new to this board as well. Can you share with us the secret to your success at maintaining such a significant weight loss? What is a typical day of eating for you, and what is your exercise routine? Do you ever experience out-of-control food cravings and/or eating episodes now that the weight is off? Were you ever an emotional eater and, if so, how do you deal with it now? Thanks, any insight you can provide is greatly appreciated. You look wonderful! Maureen

Maureen, Well to be honest I eat what I want now, but not very much. I do eat more some days than others, but I watch it VERY carefully. I weigh myself EVERY morning without fail and write my weight on my bathroom calendar. I was a food addict, and ate at the drop of a hat. I lived to eat and was within 60 pounds of reaching the 400 mark. It was horrible. That's all I really know what to say. Hope this helps a little =) Kim
