My day was ok, I still can't believe I can eat PowerCrunch bars! 1. low sugar apples & cinnamon oatmeal 2. powercrunch 3. 1/2 cup of beef/potato soup & 1 cheese stick 4. powercrunch The Melting Pot! WOW! This place was a LOT of fun I never had fondue before and I was so scared that everything was going to be loaded with fat, etc. But it really wasn't. John ordered the Lobster Extravaganza, and here is what we had. 1st course - bread, veggies, apples - wisconsin cheese fondue. This had bleu cheese in it, of which I'm not a big fan, but it was good. I had 1 bread cube, 1 apple bite, 1 cauliflaur, and 1 celery. 2nd course - Mushroom salad. Ohmygoodness! I was concerned when they first brought it out. It literally was ALL mushrooms. Thinly sliced mushrooms piled on a bit of romaine lettuce with some purple cabbage, drizzled with the house Italian/parmesean dressing. Of course I didn't come close to eating even a 1/4 of it, but it was sure hard to stop! 3rd course - 1 inch cubes of 3 different kinds of beef, teriyaki beef, filet mignon, and new york strip, chicken, TWO lobster tails, 6 tiger shrimp, brocolli, mushrooms, celery, squash, red potatos. The fondue was Coque Vin style, with burgundy wine, garlic, onions and other french herbs in chicken and beef stock. And they give you soooo many sauces for the meats after they are cooked I can't remember them all! You place the veggies in first, and then put the meats on your fondue forks, and let them cook in the liquid. I had one bite of each of the three beefs, 2 bites of lobster, 1 shrimp, 1 mushroom, and 1 slice of potato, and sampled dabs of the sauces. YUM. Fourth course - DESSERT! I chose the dark chocolate sauce, with flambeed marshmellow, and oreo cookie crumbles. It was served with marshmellows, brownie bites, pound cake bites, bananas, pineapple, strawberries. I had 1 brownie bite, 1 pound cake bite, 2 slices of banana, all drizzled with that luscious dark chocolate sauce. Mmmmmmmmmmm So now you are probably wondering how Miss Fussy Guts managed to get all that food in, and none of it made her sick. Well. I wondered the same thing. Then I realized we had been eating for THREE hours! So it's really grazing wonderland. If all of that food had been put on my plate and served to me, theres no way on earth I could have done it. But it was a nice, easy, relaxed pace. You have to actually cook your food before eating it, and the fondues have to be brought up to temperature, as they are made at the table too, so that slows things down. I guess I was most concerned with the dessert portion, but the brownie bite I had was less than an inch square, same for the pound cake bite. I do have to say though, I could NOT have eaten ONE more bite without being uncomfortably full. So I didn't I love my pouch! I give the Melting Pot two thumbs up! Now I just have to keep in mind that it's a very expensive treat for once a year Michele PS: I forgot to mention, apparently I still dump from sugar, on the way home I got so sleepy I could barely keep my eyes open! Good thing I couldn't eat one more bite!

O!! I forgot to mention that I ordered a Chambourd Marguerita (my pre-surgery fave) so I could have a few sips. Well holy cow! I had three sips and voila insta-tipsy! Not to worry though, John finished it. It was a special night, and it had been so long since I had one. Sure was tasty! Michele

I'd love to hear your input as there are no retailers close to me and I would have to order it online. Thank ya girl.

Oh yes! I finally made it over to Neiman Marcus and tried on the Sassybax bra. I LOVE it! I tried on a size medium, and nothing lapped over the sides anywhere. It's really very comfy too. Now if you have small breasts like me and want to look a bit bigger, there are silicone inserts you can wear. I will probably buy them at some point for certain outfits. I didn't purchase the bra yet, because as she was ringing me up, she informed me they don't take any card with the Visa logo on it! Only AMEX or Neiman Marcus card, and the cash machine was on the other side of the mall. Harumph! So I decided to just go home and buy it online, but then saw the shipping charges, said Harumph again. So one of these days I will get back over there with cash in hand! Michele
