Could I be the only one?
Hey Dolly, Hey Contessa!
Hijack!
What a coincidence... I was thinking about Contessa while I was watching the Olympics too.
Hey bella, I am going to Italy in April! I can't wait to go... Tuscany and Rome. It is going to be wonderful. Life is good!
ciao

Of course I do! I tend to walk around with my overalls, straw hat, no shoes and cob in hand..doesnt everyone?
I even drink milk..and sometimes wipe my mouth with my sleeve!
*chortle*
Actually I find that carrying the cob gets in the way or carrying my shopping bags :p
I usually leave my cob at home and get somebody to carry my shopping bags for me. That frees up my hands so shopping is easy.
I am not really into the overalls, they are generally to big for me and to long, wearing a hat is bad for your hair, and I wouldnt want to be barefoot my feet stay too cold.
I only drink milk in my protein shakes, and I would not waste good protein wiping it on my sleeve.
Well I am going to bed now. I have to rest, the **** crows early in the morning.

I understand what you mean. I've had to occasionally take a break from some of the wls boards I'm on and this one as well. When I was a new post ops and full of energy and thrilled with my surgery I didn't know why others didn't want to talk protein and vitamins and everything weight related all the time, farther out I wanted to shout from the rooftops how fantastic this surgery was and encourage everyone - even complete strangers - that they had to have it done. When I was farther out still I became a bit wiser, realized the world does not revolve around me and I am now more selective about what I post and what I read. Yes, it is preachy at times, and I delete those. The ones that insist that their doc is right and ONLY his or her program should be followed drive me crazy as well. I have to remember when I was new and these things were so important to me also. Sometimes we need to take a step back. I hope you continue to read and help others - I learn from every post on here in one way or another. Thanks for sharing - it's funny to me how differently we are at 3 months out, 6 months out, 12 months out or more - our needs our different and our postings different. Myrtle.

Thanks for the response Myrtle..I knew that someone else would understand..the few emails I got too were very understanding.
All I did was comment, not nastily..just commented and well it's somehow reduced to corn in ones teeth and church..neither of which did I ever bring up..so it really makes no sense to me.
Anyway, i'm exhausted, I have an early morning meeting, so beddy bye time.
Have a super night.
Hey Older & Wiser,
I'm always glad to hear an opposing opinion any ole time!
I tire quickly of the Pollyannas & Dudley Do-rights myself
And I can honestly say, as a barefooted, skyclad preferrin, pierced wherever I damned well wanna be, corn on the cob eatin (I sure do miss corn!) non-church goin, heathen - preachin just doesn't work on me!
Just ask my Jewish Mama!
*runs away giggling*
