Could I be the only one?

Who is finding it more difficult to even read the main board at times? Don't get me wrong, it's an incredible source or support and information and there are some really lovely, kind people there.......but..last week or so..it is becoming super preachy..now i'm all for working it and doing what's right for each person..but the days where there are post after post after post about how to succeed, and how not to fail and vague movie references..I feel like i'm stuck in a soap opera..not to mention it's like watching a commercial each time. It's like I have to go do something else when I see it, so i've been working on my own website (actually getting things done.. lol) but I just cant read "that" kind of stuff anymore. I'm sure most probably wont agree with me..but I just couldn't take it anymore

When I am in church and the preacher is having a sermon on cussing too much. I want to go do something else, go to the toilet, go to the waterfountain just anywhere else. It only hurts me when I do that because I probably need to listen to the preachin LOL At least its not KFC commercials RIGHT Have a wonderful night!!! Hugs T

Well I dont go to church..i'm not a Christian..and I don't need preaching..especially after all this time..some do though..but not all. Not all of us are the same. And I like KFC..their grilled chicken isnt bad..minus the bun of course. Oh and the corn on the cob is good too. You have a good night too!

I dont go to church either, although I need to. You know what they say if you cant stand the heat stay out of the fire LOL. See if you put this thing in perspective. No preaching is going on in the "soap opera", you have to look at the glass as half full not half empty. There is some good soul on the mainboard trying to reach out to others in need. And there are others in need, right. Those who have gained a few pounds or cant get to goal. Surely you have seen folks like that...It doesnt mean they are bad, but that maybe they need a ;ittle inspiration or a little push. You are right some want motivation, some wanna leave when the sermon starts. We are all different, but in the disease of obesity we all share a common bond! I liked KFC once too, but now my health and well being mean more to me than fast food. I am having a wonderful night, spending it with a good friend talking and smiling and being thankful for what we have. Oh lord there I go preaching again. Hugs T

sometimes life sucks and its nice to chat with other people about other things besides weight loss surgery..i am guilty of alot off off topic subjects on the main boards and sometimes even here.. well like a lot of posts that i dont like here and on main board i just ignore ..dont ***** about it..this site is free and maybe if i had to pay a membership fee for this site id be more selective and complaining about the posts .. good luck on your new web site i sincerly hope it succedds and your mebership is very selective for you! huh? You lost me somewhere..I wasnt *****ing about whether or not it's a free site..I can get annoyed by someone complaing..just like most of you get annoyed by people not eating right and asking for permission to stray from their eating plans..lord knows i've seen tons of *****ing on this board about one thing or another..but I guess it's ok for the regulars?..or some can complain or be annoyed but not all? um ok ..whatever..i'm not gonna fret. My website isnt a membership website anyways..it's for a hospice organization..so yes..I guess it is selective..you have to be terminally ill or a family member or friend of someone who is dying. I think that people should think before they read into something that isnt there or dont pass judgement so quick when you dont know what somene does for a living. I dont know why ya jumped on me..I wasnt nasty..just said that I couldnt take it..that isnt a crime is it? Everyone on this site complains at some point or another..I guess I should scroll back a page or three..im sure there are a ton of posts that have complaints about others in there. So jump on me..thats ok..my ovaries are titanium as well

I am confused at what you do for a living has to do with this at all. I just wanted to tell ya, you might want to be careful eating corn on the cob in public it gets in your teeth and makes you look bad. So whatever you do for a living your employer might not like that. Here in WBGV they call us corn eatin' hetherns when we get corn in our teeth.I wouldnt want somebody to think that about me so I dont eat corn in public. Hugs T

Um ok. Well I mentioned I was working on my website and Joann brought it up as far as membership goes..ANYWAYS..that is neither here nor there. I don't have an employer, i'm my own boss..not that that has anything to do with my enjoyment of corn on the cob..i'm a neat eater..cant ever say i've had an issue with corn sticking in my teeth.... besides, thats why they created floss!

im not jumping on you just stating that this is a free site if you dont like a subject on a post dont read it.. there must of been at least 5 tyra banks posts yesterday ..i read one skipped the reest.. i didnt jump on you i just stated that the site is free.. and i even wished you good luck on your site.. if i was pissed i wouldnt of wished you luck would i? sometimes thats the problem here and on main boards the text is always taking out of content and having titanuim ovaries is a great thing isnt it?
